Led Zeppelin was scheduled to play a sold out concert at the defunct JFK Stadium in Philadelphia Pennsylvania on Saturday August 13, 1977 beginning at noon.  There was no time to book an opening act for the event.  Due to tragic circumstances the concert never took place and the remaining 1977 concert dates were cancelled.  Pictured above is an unused concert ticket for that show.  What is interesting about the ticket is that it states “All Weather Concert”.  After the events that transpired at the Tampa Stadium concert earlier in the 1977 tour as well as the tragic event that happened to Stone the Crows Les Harvey it is surprising to see “All Weather Concert” stated on the ticket.  Subsequent tickets have a notation of “Rain Date Sunday” listed.
